1) Dennis Buys Cars is pleased to offer this incredible beast of an automobile. It is a two owner California car with the second owner having it since 1973 until he passed away recently. It was born as an LS-5 with a 454 and changed to a Chevy Crate 502 in 1998. Many receipts are available including: Installation of the 502. In 1981 it received the professionally done fender flares and three stage Pearl White paint job at a cost of $4,100 which is equivalent to over $11,000 today. Installation of MSD electronic ignition and installation of George Nash 4+1 5-Speed transmission as well as many service records and upgrades. With the headers, racing dual exhaust with cutouts and high duration cam I am sure the horsepower is in the 500HP range. It fires right up, runs and sound great. It pulls incredibly strong and has no negative driveability issues. All gauges work, AC is not working. The body is super straight with no cracks but the 36 year old paint is starting to show its age with checking here and there. Chrome and glass are excellent. Upholstery is like new and there are no cracks on the dash. This is a tasteful restomod of its day done by someone who liked to go fast. Tidy it up yourself with new paint or enjoy it and scare people just the way it is. Clean CA title in hand with with current CA registration. Smog exempt. BiN $18,995 (Ended) on April 13, 2017.
